MASTER AHJAN DECH (THEPPATNOM)
Master Ajhan Dech is one of the top sakyant masters in Thailand today who is highly talented in the spiritual art of tattoo. He is currently very popular and well known to many people in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
He was fifteen years old when he became the student of the Luang Pu Lui of Wat Rajyotha a 150 years old temple resided by the famous Luang Pu Thong Wat Rajyotha. The famous Luang Pu Lui taught young Ajhan Dech the mysterious art of sacred tattoos and magical incantations from the lineage of Luang Pu Thong Wat Rajyohta. Following Thai tradition, young Ajarn Dech entered into a short term monk hood, the ordination ceremony was held at Wat Nak Phrok Paseet Cher-laang and was conducted by his mentor Luang Pu Lui personally. After when Ajhan Dech returned from monk hood, he continued to stay in Wat Rajyotha and learned from Luang Pu Lui. Having a strong determination and a positive learning attitude, Ajhan Dech learned and practiced hard on what he was taught by his mentor. Five years later being very sure that Ajhan Dech has mastered what he was taught, Luang Pu Lui allowed Ajhan Dech to start sakyant for people in Wat Rajyotha. Since then, many people had been approaching Ajhan Dech for yant tattoos.
Two years later Ajarn Dech left Wat Rajyotha and started to tattoo for people at his own samnak. Many people continue to claimed that upon receiving the yant tattoos from Ajhan Dech, their problems gradually solved and things seems to be moving smoothly. Most also said that their luck turn better after getting a yant tattoo done by Ajarn Dech. Ajhan Dech’s students alsp consist of people from all walks of life, there are peoples like government officers, those from very rich families and royal bodyguards, came requesting Ajarn Dech for protective yant tattoos and also yant tattoos that bring them higher authority and power over the others. Some would go for the practice of having blessed gold foils (pit tong) pasted on their faces and certain area of the body, enhancing their level of popularity and improving their social relationship with people.
Later it was by chance that Ajhan Dech met Luang Phor Od of Wat Uppsorn Serwan. Luang Phor Od teaches Ajhan Dech many magical incantations, chanting and wicha related to metta and mahalarp. Ajarn Dech was later invited to go Malaysia and Singapore which he was well received and welcomed by many devotees. According to many people, they described Master Ajhan Dech as a nice and approachable master. He is highly skilful in sakyant and always been very careful and professional when doing tattoos for them. Many people like the Hanuman and tiger tattoos that Ajarn Dech did, apart that they are neat and beautiful, they look lively and vigorous. Eventually when the tattoos have been blessed by Ajarn Dech, they turned into powerful sacred yant tattoos, more than just ordinary tattoos. Other than sakyant, Ajhan Dech is also specialized in the magical practice of using the hermit mask (Krop Kru in Thai) to get rid of all the negative energies and bad luck accumulating around a person. Ajhan Dech would recited a magical incantation (Katha in Thai) to help enhancing one’s luck and popularity, as well as protecting them from evil harms. Apart from the Kroo Lersi ritual, Master Ajhan Dech was also taught the wicha of applying Phan Boon Mask to enchanced ones metta and charisma to the next level. As such, today Ajarn Dech has been regarded by many people as a top senior master for sakyant and wicha (term for magic in Thai). |
